The EMS (Nigeria) Principle

Emergency Transport is our core area in the many care divisions of EMS (Nigeria). This service is designed to provide Medical Emergency & medical related Transport services, and on many specialized occasions. All of the qualified personnel within EMS (Nigeria) have gained a vast amount of training and experience within the pre-hospital emergency field prior to becoming part of our team. This has also been reinforced by our in-house designed provided by our specialized partners upon their arrival in order to ensure full compliance of our procedures.

Emergency Medical Assistance by Air

EMS (Nigeria) comes to the aid of people in distress, providing swift, professional medical assistance by air. In order to do this, it employs state-of-the-art operating resources, such as helicopters and air-ambulances. EMS (Nigeria) workforce comprises qualified, experienced staff.

In the service of its patients

EMS (Nigeria) acts according to medical necessity and in the service of its patients. It is a privately run, non-profit foundation, which operates independently of the State or of financial interests. EAMS task is to provide rescue services to members and people in need with the objective of saving lives.

Transportation of Medicines and Equipment

EAMS provides other relevant services including transportation of medicines and medical equipment to remote destinations (within) the country. This is particularly important in emergencies, as in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic when distribution of vaccines are needed in rural destinations.

Funded by its patrons

EMS (Nigeria) is supported by those who believe in social development and funded by its members. In grateful acknowledgement of this support, EMS (Nigeria) can waive the costs of rescue missions carried out for those who patronize its course, provided that these costs are not covered by a health or accident insurance.
