The Urgent Care service, is one of the value-added services of EAMS (Nigeria), designed to meet the needs of the patient who has an urgent need for either a hospital admission or transfer but does not require an emergency response. Urgent Tier patients will normally have been pre-assessed either by a doctor or by another health professional and may require some medical attention such as monitoring, oxygen or mild paid relief while en-route to the hospital or clinic.

The EAMS (Nigeria) Urgent Care Team provides comfortable air ambulances, carrying all the equipment that may be required during the journey. The team will also respond to specialized requests for journeys that currently fall outside the scope of any contracts for the provision of air ambulances transport services but within the medical sector.
